The entire range of ABSEL car parts, batteries and lamps is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

This warranty allows you to make a claim for the purchased products, if they are of improper quality or a defect is detected during the warranty period.

The warranty period is calculated from the date indicated on the sales receipt issued at the time of purchase (purchase or purchase and installation), at the point of sale (shop or service station).

In case of a favourable decision on the claim, the customer has the right to receive a refund of the cost of the part or replacement of the defective goods.

The products delivered (replaced) under warranty service are covered by all warranty obligations of the manufacturer, while the warranty period for the replaced products will continue to run from the date of purchase.

Warranty terms

If a defect of ABSEL product is detected, please contact the retail outlet where the item was purchased. The possibility of returning the goods will be considered upon presentation of the goods and the following documents for examination:

• A completed return claim form (Download)
• Order-order for installation or replacement of this part on the vehicle, a copy of the order-order for removal of the goods, if the fault was detected on a date different from the date of installation and the vehicle (hereinafter - TC) was in operation;
• Certificate of the service station, confirming compliance with the requirements of the work (if any) / extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities / Unified State Register of Legal Entities;
• Defect inspection certificate on the letterhead of the organisation;
• Defective part to be examined by the warranty department.

The warranty does not apply to car components which are replaced in accordance with the vehicle maintenance schedule*, as well as to cases related to careless operation of the vehicle, if there are traces of modification or restoration of car components, damage to car components as a result of road accidents, incorrect selection, as well as cases when the failure of the product was caused by the malfunction of another part or unit.

In case of purchase and installation of ABSEL parts, the cost of which does not exceed 25,000 rubles, in authorized ABSEL service centers, the buyer has the right to use an extended warranty under a simplified scheme. The fact of purchase and installation is confirmed by a receipt and/or a work order with the date of installation of ABSEL spare parts. In this case, the manufacturer's warranty is 24 months or 60,000 km from the start date of the warranty period, whichever comes first.

Under the terms of the extended warranty for the product categories 'timing belts', 'timing belt drive components (rollers, tensioners)', 'timing belt sets', in the event of a warranty event, not only shall be exchanged for automotive components of the same article, but also compensation shall be made for the cost of engine parts damaged as a result of belt breakage, roller defect, and unsuitable for further use, as well as the cost of their replacement. Compensation is made only if ABSEL Warranty Department confirms the occurrence of a warranty event. ABSEL does not assume the obligation to compensate the cost of transportation of the vehicle to the place of repair

Upon positive consideration of the application, the buyer receives a refund of the cost of the part or replacement of the defective product.

The warranty does not apply to automotive components, the replacement of which is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the maintenance on the car*, as well as cases related to negligent operation of the vehicle, in the presence of traces of refinement or restoration of automotive components, damage to automotive components as a result of an accident, improper selection, as well as cases when the cause of the failure of the goods there was a malfunction of another part or unit.
